Samdech Hun Sen receives a visiting Secretary of State of the Foreign Ministry of Japan



Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen receives here on Sept. 10 a visiting Mr.Osamu Fujimura, Secretary of State of the Foreign Ministry of Japan.

On the occasion, Mr. Osamu Fujimura told Samdech Hun Sen of the outcome of his recent talks with Cambodia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister H.E Hor Namhong, over the issues related to the West, East and South corridors development of Cambodia and Neak Leung Bridge construction, in which the construction works will begin at the end of 2010 and to be completed in 2015.

In reply, Prime Minister Hun Sen expressed profound thanks to the government and people of Japan for the constant assistances to Cambodia and considered the Neak Leung Bridge construction a great success of the West, East and South corridors development not only for Cambodia, but also for the Great Mekong Sub-region and the ASEAN as a whole.
