Australian Red Cross (ARC) will continue to help Cambodian Red Cross (CRC) in response to the CRC’s need.
This was made known here on Sept. 27 in the meeting between CRC First Vice President Mrs. Any Sok An and visiting ARC Secretary General Mr. Robert Tickner.
On the occasion, Mrs. Any Sok An welcomed the ARC delegation’s visit to Cambodia and said that ARC, a cooperation partner of CRC since 1992, has helped promote the health care and education on the danger of landmine, HIV/AIDS, hygiene and clean water in eleven Cambodian provinces’ local communities.
For his part, Mr. Robert Tickner said ARC wished to work closely with CRC in helping the disabled and reducing road accidents.
