Cambodian Information Minister H.E. Khieu Kanharith meets here on Sept. 7 with Mr. Choi Eung-Ho, deputy director of the Managing Department for Radio and TV Broadcasting of the Republic of Korea.
On the occasion, Mr. Choi Eung-Ho told Cambodian minister of his purpose to seek the permission for a one-year trial installation of the new DMB system for mobile TV here.
In reply, H.E. Khieu Kanharith agreed upon with the request and asked the Korean side to conduct the study over the cost of this new system. The new system can watch TV via mobile phone, internet and in vehicle as well.
The minister stated that once the study on the cost of the new system is completed he will review the project and submit to the Royal Government of Cambodia for the final approval.
