Newly Appointed Russian Ambassador Meets Cambodian Leaders

Newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federation of Russia to Cambodia H.E. Mr. Alexander I. Ignaton pays a courtesy visit to Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen in Phnom Penh Tuesday morning.

During the meeting, the Russian diplomat told Premier Techo Hun Sen that this is another new opportunity for him to contribute to the Cambodia’s development as well as to further deepen the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries. He also pledged to successfully fulfill his diplomatic mission here.

For his parts, Premier Techo Hun Sen asked Russia to review the possibilities of providing more assistance on the human resource building to Cambodian officials as in the past many Cambodian officials were successful trained in Russia.
