The Establishment of the National Flag Carrier “Cambodia Angkor Air”





Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen and H.E Truong Vinh Trong, Deputy Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam preside over here on July 26 the Signing Ceremony and Declaration for the Establishment of the National Flag Carrier “Cambodia Angkor Air” and Commercial Investment Presence of the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) in the Kingdom of Cambodia, which was signed by Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister H.E Sok An, Minister In Charge of the Office of the Council of Ministers with Mr. Ryb Pham Ngoo Mih, Director General of Vietnam’s National Airlines.

Addressing the ceremony, Cambodian premier expressed thanks and highly valued the leaders of the party and the government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for supporting all the Cambodian initiatives on the joint establishment of Cambodia’s National Airlines “Cambodia Angkor Air” in which Cambodia holds 51% of share and Vietnam 49% for the 30-year contract with the initial capital of USD 100 million.

Also on the occasion, insurance certificate, license for BIDV and certificate of investment were handed over to Vietnamese investors in Cambodia.
