A visiting Thai National Assembly President H.E. Mr. Chai Chidchop meets here Thursday with Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen.
During the meeting, Cambodian Premier said that the two countries should minimize the dispute and promote the cooperation instead as last year the volume of trade exchange between the two nations has reached some US$ 1.7 billion, including some US$ 1.4 billion were exported to Cambodia while only US$ 300 million imported into Thailand.
In reply, H.E. Chai Chidchop said the dispute will not good for the relations, particularly the commercial field between the two countries. He added that the two sides should prevent from any future armed clashes and should transform the border areas into a peaceful, stability and development border instead.
