Cambodian National Assembly President Samdech Akka Moha Ponhear Chakrei Heng Samrin meets here Thursday afternoon with a visiting Thai National Assembly President H.E. Mr. Chai Chilchop.
On the occasion, H.E. Mr. Chai Chidchop told Samdech Heng Samrin that Thailand will try its best to solve the border dispute and will cooperate with Cambodian side in searching for the missing border posts in order to complete the border markers’ plantation.
For his parts, Cambodian National Assembly President Samdech Heng Samrin said the border conflict between our two countries have reached more than one year so far, but Cambodia is seeking ways and means to solve the conflict peacefully.
Samdech Heng Samrin further said that we have discussed the border issue during IPA meeting in Singapore and we also affirmed that the two sides should speed up the border markers’ plantation.
Also on the occasion, National Assembly President Heng Samrin accepted the invitation from his Thai counterpart to attend the upcoming meeting in Pattaya, Thailand.
