Information Minister H.E. Khieu Kanharith presides over a closing ceremony of spokesperson training for Cambodian military and police officers held in Phnom Penh on July 10.
After thanks to trainer Ms Tanny R. Van Dame extended by a representative of the trainees and their commitments to the effective application gained from the knowledge of the spokesperson training, the information minister gave some comments, saying that as spokespersons, they should deal with the public opinion, mainly understanding social psychology and pulse, and what happened to their unit, regardless of an instruction given by their executive chief.
Meanwhile, the information minister awarded a certificate to a trainee in the spokesperson training course in which 22 military and police officers participated.
The course was co-organized by the ministry of Information and the US embassy in Cambodia.
