Cambodia’s Information Minister H.E Khieu Kanharith and US Ambassador to Cambodia Mrs. Carol Rodney preside over here this Monday morning the 2nd Opening Ceremony of Spokesperson Training for Cambodian Civil Officers, which was jointly organized by the Ministry of Information and the US Embassy here from July 13 to 17.
Addressing the ceremony, H.E Khieu Kanharith emphasized that the spokespersons do not work only with the media, but they have to work with the whole public opinion and people.
He added that despite we have a small number of trainees in this course, but it created a favorable opportunity for trainees and trainer to have a good relations and the trainer can provide her good experience to the trainees as well.
The course is being taught by Ms. Tammy R. Van Dame, a former spokeswoman for the US Army.
