Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Keat Chhon, minister of Economy and Finance on July 17, inspects the construction sites of Prek Tamak Bridge and the portion of National Road No.8 from Kandal province’s Ksach Kandal district to Vietnamese border.
According to a report of the Shanghai Construction (Group) General Company of China, which is constructing the 1,066 meter-long by 13.5 meter-wide bridge, the construction has so far achieved some 67% of its works and it expected to be completed in 2010, while the 109 km- long national road No. 8 has achieved some 64% of its work and expected to complete in 2011.
