A press conference refutes to the recent allegation made by U.S. Ambassador

Cambodian Senior Minister H.E. Om Yin Tieng (center), Head of the Royal Government of Cambodia’s Anti-Corruption Unit holds a press conference here on June 2 to refute to the recent allegation made by U.S. Ambassador.

Speaking at the press conference, H.E Om Yin Tieng, vigorously rejected to the groundless allegation made by U.S. Ambassador to Cambodia Mrs. Carol Rodley that it was Cambodia’s corruption causing the loses of 500 million U.S. dollars revenue each year.

Meanwhile, he asked the US diplomat to publicly retract her comment. The US Ambassador made the remarks at the “Clean Hand” concert at the Phnom Penh’s National Stadium on May 30, 2009
