The first-19 batch of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces’ officers, depart here on Tuesday to Indonesia, where they will take part in the multi-nation military training exercise.
They were seen off at Phnom Penh International Airport by Gen. Meung Samphan, Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Defense and other senior military officers.
The second-36 personnel and the third-5 personnel contingents are respectively scheduled to leave here on June 13 and 15 to join the above-said exercise.
The Royal Government of Cambodia has sent 44 military personnel to Mongolia for the same training drill in 2007 and 44 to Bangladesh in 2008.
