Cambodian Senior Minister H.E Nuth Sokhom, head of HIV/AIDS National Authority together with Buddhist Monk Patriarch Nun Ngeth, students and Phnom Penh dwellers hold candle-lights to dedicate to the soul of the people, who died of HIV/AIDS, during a gathering ceremony here on Monday to mark the 26th International AIDS Day under the topic “Join Together to Resolve AIDS Issue.”
Addressing the ceremony, H.E Nuth Sokhom said although Cambodia is a poor country but it has been recognized by national and international public opinions as a country that can reduce the spread of HIV/IADS from 3% in 1998 to 0.7% in 2008 and it continue to gradually decrease.
