Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen and Japanese Ambassador to Cambodia H.E MASAFUMI KUROKI preside over here this morning the handover ceremony of the Demining Equipment (Phase V) donated by the government of Japan and to review CMAC’s Ten-Year Achievements 2000-2009.
Addressing the ceremony, Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen said “On behalf of the government and people of Cambodia, I would like to express my profound thanks to the government and people of Japan for providing the precious equipment to Cambodia”.
The demining equipment which totally worth US$ 5.5 millions including 488 landmine detectors, 44 deep-landmine detectors, spare parts for landmine clearance machines and a mobile maintenance workshop.
