Samdech Hun Sen meets with foreign ministers of Japan and Mekong countries



Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen meets in Siem Reap province on October 3 with foreign ministers of Japan and Mekong countries.

On the occasion, Cambodian premier considered the 2nd Japan-Mekong Foreign Minister’s Meeting as very important for the historic summit of Japan-Mekong to be held in Tokyo early November. He also asked Japan to continue its cooperation aims at further push for the development as well as to reduce the gap between the countries in the region.

For his parts, Japan’s Foreign Minister H.E. Katsuwa Okada stated that the new government of Japan will continue to focus on the Mekong region, its outlook for East Asian region as well as to further promote the relationship with Asean and other countries in the region.
