Cambodia Is Not Surprised to Resolve Border Dispute with Thailand at International Forums

Cambodia is not surprised at all to raise and solve the border conflict with Thailand at the regional or international forums, by either a neutral organization or the International Court of Justice in The Hague or the UN Security Council.

The statement was made here today by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation H.E. Hor Namhong at a press conference.

“I sent a letter to Thai Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya on Oct. 9, proposing Thailand, the ASEAN Chair, to include this border issue in the agenda of the upcoming ASEAN Summit,” said the Cambodian foreign minister, adding that Cambodia has not received any reply from the Thai side yet.
