Samdech Hun Sen returns from the 14th Asean Summit held in Thailand
Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen is greeted by Deputy Prime Minister Sar Kheng and other senior government officials upon his arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport yesterday after attending the 14th Asean Summit held in Thailand from Feb. 27 to Mar. 1, where the agreement of Road Map of Asean Charter was signed by Asean Heads of State and Government and an agreement of Oil Security signed by Asean Foreign Ministers.
Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister H.E Hor Namhong, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation holds a press conference at Phnom Penh International Airport on Mar. 1 on the outcome of the 14th Asean Summit held in Thailand including the meetings of Asean Foreign and Economic Ministers, in which the talks focused on the world financial and economic crisis, the crisis between Palestine and Israel at Gaza, the appointment of Asean Ambassador by Asean through the newly established-Asean Charter.
He also said, in the upcoming May, Cambodia will host the meeting of Asean-Europe Foreign Ministers, in which some 40 countries are expected to participate.
