PM’s Visit to Singapore Is a Success

Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen accompanied by his wife Lok Chumteav Bun Rany Hun Sen and other high-ranking officials arrive at Phnom Penh International Airport on July 27, upon concluding his three-day official visit to Singapore.

Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Hor Namhong, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation speaks to reporters during a press conference held at Phnom Penh International Airport on July 27 over the verdict of the former Khmer Rouge S-21 Chief Kaing Guek Eav, better known as Duch.

Speaking on the occasion, H.E. Hor Namhong said that for his personal view the KR chamber’s verdict handled for Duch was very light and undeserved if compare to the deaths of nearly 3 millions of Cambodian innocent people and hundreds of thousands of people who were tortured at Tuol Sleng and executed at Choeuk Ek.
