The inauguration ceremony of sugar cane processing refinery




Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen cuts red ribbon and presses button to operate the machine while presiding over the inauguration ceremony of sugar cane processing refinery run by a joint-venture companies of Cambodia, Taiwan and Thailand in Cambodia’s Koh Kong province on Jan. 25.

Addressing the ceremony, Premier Techo Hun Sen said this is the first sugar factory among the eight investment projects on the sugar factory establishment and sugar cane plantation that were granted by the Royal Government of Cambodia through the economic land concession policy.

Prime Minister Hun Sen added that Cambodia is expected to produce between 156,000 to 204,000 tons of sugar annually from 2013.

He also appealed to all enterprises, handicrafts, industries and all people to strongly support the domestic products for the interests of Cambodia’s social-economic development.
