The strengthening of the cooperation and relationship between Cambodia and France








Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen together with his wife Lok Chumteav Bun Rany Hun Sen shakes hands with H.E. Sar Kheng, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, French Ambassador to Cambodia Mr. Jean Francoir Desmazieres and other senior government officials, upon his arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport on July 19 after concluding his official visit to France from July 10 at the invitation of H.E. Mr. Nicolas Sarkozy, President of the Republic of France.
During his stay in France, Prime Minister Techo Hun Sen has attended the French Military Parade on July 14, met separately with France President H.E. Mr. Nicolas Sarkozy, Prime Minister Mr. Francois Fillon and Foreign Minister Mr. Bernard Kouchner, in which the meetings have reached the fruitful results on the strengthening of the cooperation and relationship between the two countries.
During the meeting, France president has agreed all the requests proposed by Cambodian premier by confirming that France considers providing the financial concession as the priority for the continuous building of Cambodia. Both sides have agreed to set up a joint committee for the cooperation in framework of partnership.
