A red-cutting ceremony at a pagoda in Phnom Penh











Information Minister H.E. Khieu Kanharith, along with his wife, presides over a red-cutting ceremony at a pagoda in Phnom Penh today morning with the ministry’s officials, local authorities, local residents and laypersons in attendance.
After conveying best wishes from the Cambodian leaders to the local residents, the minister said in the meeting between Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen and visiting Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Taugsuban at his residence in Takhmao provincial town of Kandal yesterday, the talk focused on the resolution in avoiding the border arm clashes between the two countries and the overleaping maritime area between the two nations for oil and gas exploration, but not on the issue of the listing of Cambodia’s Preah Vihea Temple.
