Samech Heng Samrin meets with 24 representatives of minority ethnic people




Cambodian National Assembly President Samech Akka Moha Chakrei Heng Samrin meets here on Dec. 24 with 24 representatives of minority ethnic people led by Mr. Yin Sopheap, United Nation’s Legal Expert to Asia Pacific Region in charge affairs for the right of justice having for minority ethnic people.

The Rural Development Committee of Siem Reap Province holds its annual meeting on Dec. 22 under the presence of its Governor H.E. Sou Phirin with the participations of all relevant representatives from across the province.

The meeting has focused on the implementing process of reforming policy on discentralization and deconcenration program of the government of Cambodia and laws on the municipality, provinces, cities and districts’ management.

PM Meets Vietnamese Minister of Justice


Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen meets here on Dec. 22 with Mr. Ha Hung Cuong, Justice Minister of Vietnam.

On the occasion, Mr. Ha Hung Cuong told Premier Hun Sen of his visit here, is aimed to further boost the cooperation on juridical sector between both countries’ ministries.

He also informed Samdech Hun Sen of his meeting with Cambodia’s Supreme Court President H.E. Dith Munty, Phnom Penh Municipal Court President Chiv Keng and signed an agreement with his Cambodian counterpart H.E. Ang Vong Vatana to assist Cambodia in legal field, visit exchange, human resource development as well as the cooperation in the international arena.

In reply, Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his congratulations over the development of cooperation between both countries and asked the two ministries to continue cooperating on the mutual experiences’ exchanges, particularly on cross-border crimes.

Retired Army Forces to Get Social Concession Land



Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen presides over here yesterday the launching of the National Policy of Land Distribution for Retired Armed Forces to improve their living standards as well as to transform unused land into productive land.

Addressing the ceremony, Premier Techo Hun Sen urged all relevant ministries, committees, particularly the provincial authorities to quickly prepare the action plan relating to the identity and land allocation program for the prioritized retired armed forces.

A groundbreaking ceremony to construct the agricultural fertilizer factory in Kandal province




Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen accompanied by H.E. Suy Sem, Minister of Industry, Mines and Energy pushes bottom this morning to operate the machinery during a groundbreaking ceremony to construct the agricultural fertilizer factory at Kean Svay district, Kandal province.

The Five Star International Fertilize Cambodia will cost some US$ 65 million and will take two-year construction time. Once the factory put into operational, it has the capacity to produce some 350,000 tons per year in the first phase and follow by 500,000 tons annually in the second phase.

Cambodian Red Cross President receives a donation



Cambodian Red Cross President Lok Chumteav Bun Rany Hun Sen receives 50 million Dong (Vietnamese Currency) as a donation from Mr. Ao Yang Thinh, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Province People’s Committee during a meeting here on December 22.

Following on the same day, Lok Chumteav Bun Rany Hun Sen receives a truck from H.E. Keo Ratanak, delegate of the Royal Government of Cambodia and Director General of Electricity of Cambodia.
