The hand-over ceremony of a new Bodyguard Headquarters Building and other achievements



Deputy Prime Minister H.E. General Tea Banh (right), Minister of National Defense and Alternative Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Due, Deputy Minister of National Defense of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, sign a document while presiding over the hand-over ceremony of a new Bodyguard Headquarters Building and other achievements, which were built by the financial support from the People’s Army of Vietnam at the total cost of USD 3,016,800 at Takhmao town in Kandal province on January 19.

The 4th annual meeting for the public financial management reform program



Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Keat Chhon, Minister of Economy and Finance, presides over the 4th annual meeting for the public financial management reform program held in Preah Sihanouk province on January 16.

Addressing the meeting, H.E. Keat Chhon said we have successfully implemented the public financial management reform program of stage 1 and I confident that we will successfully achieve more in the future.

H.E. Khieu Kanharith meets with a visiting Vietnamese delegation





Information Minister H.E. Khieu Kanharith meets here yesterday with a visiting Vietnamese delegation of Tra Vinh province led by H.E Son Song Son , member of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and Vice Chairman of South-West Region Permanent Committee.

In the meeting, H.E. Son Song Son told Cambodian minister that his visit to Cambodia is aimed at seeking for more understanding on the mainland and maritime security issue between the two countries.

In reply, H.E. Khieu Kanharith said there are millions of peoples are living along the border of the two countries, so we have to jointly resolve with fraternally and amicably if any problem occurs.

H.E. Kep Chutema meets with Ambassador of Israel to Cambodia


Phnom Penh Municipal Governor H.E. Kep Chutema meets here on January 18 with Ambassador of Israel to Cambodia Mr. Itzhak Sitoham.

On the occasion, the Israeli diplomat told the governor that Israel wishes to invest on the garbage dump management and sewage treatment in Phnom Penh as these two projects are under the grant aid from the Israeli government.

In reply, H.E. Kep Chutema welcomed the projects.

Phnom Penh Municipality and Bat Yam City of Israel are expected to sign on a document to form an alliance between the two cities in the near future.

Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen cuts red ribbon here this morning to inaugurate the office building and other infrastructures of the Royal Cambodian Navy Headquarters.

The new headquarters office building was built at the total cost of USD 1,319,167.

King of Cambodia cuts red ribbon to inaugurate 80 houses at Sen Sok district




His Majesty Preah Bath Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia cuts red ribbon to inaugurate 80 houses at Sen Sok district’s Khmuong sub-district in Phnom Penh yesterday.

The houses were funded by King Sihamoni at the total costs of USD 1,232,980 for 80 poor families.
